  • Control Excessive Underarm Sweat with Simple Life Style Changes | Posted by admin on Feb 19 2010
  • I have found that diet plays an important part in dealing with the problem of excessive underarm sweat.  Making some easy changes can produce very significant results.

Overweight and obese people sweat much more than normal weight people because fat acts as an insulator that raises their core temperature.  Therefore, reducing your weight will increase your cooling efficiency and reduce your sweating.

See the guide that finally helped me to cure the excessive underarm sweat problem

There are also certain foods to avoid which are known to produce excessive sweating.  Its true- there are eating and drinking habits that encourage sweating and there are habits that discourage it.  Use the following list and you WILL see results.

    Food and Drink to Avoid:

    Garlic

    Onions

Caffeine – It’s found in coffee, tea, cola drinks, energy drinks, cocoa and chocolate, nonprescription drugs and prescription drugs, weight-control aids.  Caffeine is a stimulant, which raises blood pressure, increasing circulation and heartbeat.  Remember, your body is like an engine that runs all the time.  Caffeine decreases your engine cooling ability.

Spicy Foods – Speeds up your metabolism (much like caffeine).

Alcohol – Increases your body temperature causing the acceleration of fluids to be flushed from your sweat pores.

    Food and Drink to Seek:

    Lots of Water – Don’t over-look this!

Sage Tea – It’s a natural antiperspirant and prevents sweating from the inside out.

Fruits – Very important.  4 servings a day is great.

Olive Oil – Makes your digestive system more efficient.

Whole Grains – Contains B Vitamins which allow your body to function more efficiently.

Other good B Vitamin sources:  Proteins (fish, eggs, meat, and nuts) and vegetables (avocados, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots).

Calcium – Orange juice, milk, yogurt, light cheese, beans and spinach.  Calcium helps hyperhidrosis by helping your body cope with stress and nervousness.

You will find these tips very effective for reducing the dreaded underarm sweat problem.  However, if you have used these life style changes and are still having problems, have a look at the exact method that I used to stop my underarm sweat problem:  How to stop excessive underarm sweat.

  • Understanding Causes of Excessive Armpit Sweat | Posted by admin on Feb 17 2010
  • What causes sweat, and what are some reasons for excessive armpit sweat? I found that an understanding of the causes of excessive perspiration was the beginning of being able to solve this annoying problem.

Well, there are of course perfectly valid reasons that sweat is produced by our bodies. Sweat has two main functions in our systems – primarily to aid in getting rid of body heat, and also for excreting toxins. Think of your body like an engine that runs continuously, and like all engines, it produces heat. The more you use your muscles, such as during work or exercise, the more heat is produced.

In order to regulate our temperature and keep us from over heating, the body produces sweat. Water from our blood absorbs the heat and rises to the surface of the skin via the sweat glands so that it can evaporate and create the needed cooling effect.

See what method I found best for controlling excessive armpit sweat.

How much you sweat is affected primarily by age, gender, genetics, fitness level, and the environment. Our bodies have between two and five million sweat glands and it has been found that women tend to sweat less and begin to sweat at higher temperatures compared to men. In addition, tests show that people sweat less as they grow older, which means elderly people cannot tolerate heat as well as younger people.

So, it is essential that our bodies sweat in order to operate efficiently, but what about excessive armpit sweating? (axillary hyperhidrosis)

Under normal conditions, a part of our brain called the hypothalamus regulates sweat related functions, and sends sensory signals to the sweat nerves. These nerves, which are part of the sympathetic nervous system located in the chest cavity, send these signals to the sweat glands, causing them to produce sweat.

Hyperhidrosis is produced when the sweat glands disobey or misinterpret those signals and then produce great amounts of sweat that then seek outlets through your underarms, face, feet and palms.

Keep in mind that high levels of stress can also be responsible for excessive sweating, so if you have a lot of stress in your life, finding ways to reduce the stress will also produce a reduction in your sweat problem.

There are quite a few remedies for controlling excessive armpit sweat. They range from mild to wild, but the most effective and easy ways that I discovered begins with keeping your body clean with regular daily showers. Keeping your skin clean and able to “breathe” enables your cooling system to function more efficiently.

This is the guide that worked for me to
really put an end to excessive armpit sweat.
Check it out for yourself and I
think you will discover how it can change your life as it did for me. Understanding Causes of Excessive Armpit Sweat

It was a painful cycle of trial and error and I remember, after the ninth or tenth brand of deodorant I tried, I started to think there was just no product out there that could solve my sweating.
